How to enter

Online entry via RUNNET (first-come, first-served). Bibs and race materials are mailed to participants in early November.

Entry platform

RUNNET (runnet.jp) — free registration required; note that RUNNET is a Japanese platform and may require a Japanese address and phone number.

What you need

Runners must be 15 or older (not middle school students) and able to finish within 2 hours 45 minutes. No specific overseas-runner provisions are mentioned.

Payment

Entry fee is ¥8,000 (half marathon). Payment options include credit card, convenience store, or ATM, selected at time of entry. A 6% handling fee applies.

Bib pickup

Bibs, race materials, and timing chips are mailed to participants in early November — no race-day bib pickup is mentioned. Overseas addresses may not be supported (not stated on the site).

Entry period

General entry: June 8, 2026 (20:00) through August 9, 2026, or until the 4,700-person capacity is reached.

On race day

Medical/rescue services are provided on the day. Finish certificates can be downloaded online after the race; no on-site certificate printing or postal delivery is offered.

Notes

The site makes no mention of overseas runners or international entry support. Bibs are pre-mailed within Japan, which may create difficulties for runners without a Japanese address. Confirm with the organiser (info-ibigawamarathon@octn.jp) before entering.
