How to enter
Online entry via RUNNET, or by postal transfer form (available at sports shops and municipal offices in Oita Prefecture).

What you need
Open to anyone in good health; full marathon requires finishing within 6 hours (no high school students or younger); half marathon within 2h50m (same age restriction).
Payment
Entry fees range from ¥3,000 (children) to ¥12,000 (full marathon general). RUNNET charges a handling fee of ¥240 up to ¥4,000, or 6% for amounts above. Postal transfer also accepted.
Bib pickup
No race-day reception. Race numbers, timing tags, and participant goods are mailed to entrants in advance.
Entry period
Entry open from 27 June 2025 to 16 September 2025 (postal: postmark by 16 Sep; web: by 23:59 on 16 Sep).
On race day
Lunch, tea, and 'Urabe-jiru' soup distributed on race day at an exchange point. Baggage storage available for ¥300.
Notes
Bibs and timing tags are sent by post before the event, so overseas runners must provide a deliverable Japanese address, which may be a practical barrier. The postal entry method requires forms distributed within Oita Prefecture.
