World Triathlon Championship Series (2026/Yokohama)

How to enter

Overseas residents (outside Japan) use Race Roster for the Basic Plan, or JTB for the Option Plan (which requires booking accommodation or comfort services). Japan-resident foreigners must use the domestic entry sites instead.

What you need

Must register with the Japan Triathlon Union (JTU) prefectural/student federation before entry; overseas residents can complete this registration at the time of entry by paying a ¥4,500 registration fee. Age and time-cut requirements apply by event type. Mandatory online race briefing in April.

Payment

Entry fees range from ¥21,000 to ¥42,000+ depending on event and timing, plus an ¥800 SDGs contribution and platform system fees. Overseas cancellation refunds are processed via Race Roster.

Entry period

Regular entries opened from October 2025; Final phase ran until March 9, 2026 (unsold slots until March 22, 2026). Entry is now closed for the 2026 race.

On race day

Race insurance is included via JTU triathlon safety insurance. Wetsuits and road/triathlon bikes are mandatory. Safety pins are not provided; race number belts are recommended.

Notes

Overseas residents must only use Race Roster (Basic Plan) or JTB (Option Plan) — Japan residents, including foreign nationals living in Japan, are not permitted to use the overseas entry route. The race is held at Yamashita Park, Yokohama, easily accessible from Haneda Airport (~20 min by taxi).
