How to enter

Overseas runners can enter via Run Japan or JTB Sports Station, both of which offer English (and Traditional Chinese) registration pages dedicated to international runners.

Entry platform

Run Japan and JTB Sports Station (international runner platforms); domestic runners use RUNNET.

What you need

Runners must be 18 or older (excluding high school students). No Japan-specific address requirement is mentioned for overseas entrants using the international platforms.

Payment

Marathon entry fee is ¥12,000 (or ¥13,000 for charity entry). Payment methods for the general RUNNET entry include credit card, convenience store, and ATM; overseas platform payment details are on the respective platform pages.

Bib pickup

Bib, timing chip, and participation gift are mailed to entrants in early October. If the mailing is returned undelivered, re-delivery is not arranged, but collection is possible at the venue information desk on October 31 or November 1 with ID.

Entry period

May 15, 2026 (10:00) to July 12, 2026 (23:59), or until the 10,000-runner capacity is reached.

Notes

Two international entry routes are explicitly provided: Run Japan and JTB Sports Station (with English and Traditional Chinese pages). The race is a JAAF-certified full marathon with a 6-hour time limit.
