How to enter
Overseas runners can enter directly via Run Japan or Runnet Global (explicitly listed for those living outside Japan), or via the standard platforms RUNNET, LAWSON DO! SPORTS, and SPORTS ENTRY.

What you need
Runners must be 18 or older on race day (no high school students). A hydration bottle and personal cup are mandatory; no paper cups are provided. Runners must carry basic nutrition and weather protection.
Payment
Entry fees are higher for overseas residents: 100km general ¥26,000, U25 ¥20,800; 71km general ¥22,500, U25 ¥18,000 (all tax included). An optional ¥1,000 Runner Support Plan is available at entry.
Bib pickup
Race numbers and timing chips are mailed out before the race day, so no in-person bib pickup is required.
Entry period
Entry opens 18:00 on 24 December 2025 and closes 23:59 on 3 April 2026, or earlier if capacity is reached.
On race day
Aid stations are set up along the course with water and sports drinks (runners must use their own cups/bottles). Medical first aid is available during the race.
Notes
The race has a capacity of approximately 3,500 runners across both distances. Furusato nozei (hometown tax donation) entry slots also exist but are aimed at Japanese tax residents. Cancellation refund (50% minus fees) is available up to 3 April 2026; no refund after that date except for Runner Support Plan holders under specific conditions.
