Entering from overseas

How to enter
Overseas runners register via a separate overseas entry form on the official website (not through the domestic entry site). Japanese nationals living outside Japan must also use the overseas entry.
What you need
Runners must be 18 or older for 40km/60km, or middle-school age or older for 15km. Prior experience of 30km+ trail or 40km+ road race is recommended for 60km; 20km+ trail or 30km+ road for 40km.
Payment
Overseas entry fees are fixed regardless of timing: 25,000 JPY (~160 USD) for 60km, 20,000 JPY (~130 USD) for 40km, 10,000 JPY (~65 USD) for 15km. No refunds after payment.
Entry period
Early entry (discounted): 10 March – 30 April 2026. Standard entry: 1 May – 15 June 2026. Late entry (surcharge): 16 June – 30 June 2026 (final deadline).
Notes
The race is held at Kitadaisetsu Ski Area in Engaru, Hokkaido, about 1.5 hours by car from Asahikawa. As of mid-June 2026, 21 overseas runners had already entered across all categories.
