What you need
Runners must register as a Sports Entry member. An 'Overseas Runner Category' existed but its application period has closed. General and late entry slots were open to anyone regardless of prefecture or residence.
Payment
Credit card or convenience store payment (16,500 yen for marathon; 13,500 yen for half marathon). Late entry slots accept credit card only. A system usage fee of 5.3% applies.
Entry period
Entry slots for 2026 have largely closed. The late entry slot (May 31–June 8, 2026) is now full. No future entry windows are announced.
Notes
