What you need
Must hold a qualifying time on a JAAF- or AIMS-certified course. Categories 1–3 require JAAF registration; Category 4 (marathon sub-3:30) is open to non-JAAF-registered runners. Must be aged 19 or over on race day.
Payment
Entry fee is ¥15,000 (all categories). Payment must be completed by the specified deadline or the entry is automatically cancelled.
Bib pickup
In-person athlete check-in is required on Saturday 31 January 2026 (13:00–18:00) at Beppu Arena. Personal attendance is mandatory; no proxy check-in is allowed.
Entry period
Primary entry: 29 August – 11 September 2025 (Categories 2–4); Category 1 male until 1 December 2025. Secondary recruitment: 4–7 November 2025 (50 spots, Categories 2–4).
Notes
Because bib pickup requires personal in-person attendance in Beppu, overseas runners must travel to Japan the day before the race.
