How to enter

Entry is via RUNNET (Japanese online entry platform).

What you need

Entrants must be born on or before the eligibility date for their event. No specific overseas restrictions are mentioned, but a Japanese mailing address is effectively required as bibs and participation goods are posted to participants.

Payment

Entry fees range from ¥4,500 (10km) to ¥7,500 (full marathon), paid through RUNNET. No refunds for any reason.

Bib pickup

Bibs (with timing chip) and participation goods are mailed to registered addresses in mid-April. There is no on-site bib collection mentioned, so overseas runners would need a Japan address for delivery.

Entry period

December 1, 2025 – March 22, 2026 (entry for the 2026 race; now closed).

On race day

Medical/first-aid support is available on course. Shuttle buses run from ferry terminals and area hotels to the venue.

Notes

The race is held on Sado Island, Niigata Prefecture, accessible by ferry (Sado Kisen). Accommodation and ferry reservations were available through the official site. Overseas runners should note that bibs are posted to a Japanese address, making a local contact or accommodation address necessary.
