How to enter

Online entry only, via RUNNET (general entry) or furusato nozei donation sites.

RUNNET (free membership required for general entry)

What you need

Must be able to finish the marathon within 4 hours (or 10 km within 1 hour). Must be born on or before April 1, 2011. No explicit overseas-runner restriction is stated, but entry requires a RUNNET account and a registration address for bib mailing.

Payment

Entry fees: Marathon ¥10,000 (general) / ¥3,000 (high school); 10 km ¥5,500 (general) / ¥3,000 (high school). RUNNET handling fee applies (¥240 up to ¥4,000; 6% for over ¥4,000). No refunds.

Bib pickup

No race-day check-in needed. Bibs and timing chips are mailed in advance to the address registered at entry.

Entry period

General entry: June 6, 2026 (20:00) – August 17, 2026. Furusato nozei entry opens June 6 at midnight on participating sites.

On race day

Aid stations (water/sports drink) at multiple points on both courses; special personal drink stations available for marathon runners; toilets at 22 points on the marathon course.

Notes

Prize money for record-breaking winners is limited to Japanese nationals. Bibs are mailed to the entry address, so overseas runners must provide a valid mailing address. No on-site bib pickup option is mentioned.
