How to enter

Overseas runners can enter via a dedicated overseas entry site (online only). A specific overseas quota of 500 places is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

What you need

Runners must be born on or before April 1, 2008 (excluding high school students) and be able to finish within 6 hours 45 minutes. No domestic address requirement is mentioned for overseas entrants.

Payment

Entry fee for overseas runners is ¥30,000 (vs. ¥16,000 for domestic). Payment is due by a specified deadline after selection.

Bib pickup

Bib pickup (runner check-in) is held on November 6 (Fri) 12:00–20:00 and November 7 (Sat) 10:00–20:00 at Fukuoka City Hall West Plaza. Race-day check-in is not available, so overseas runners must arrive in Japan by November 6.

Entry period

The general entry period was April 20 – May 20, 2026. The overseas priority quota (500 places, first-come first-served) had its own window; check the official site for exact dates.

On race day

A language volunteer program (語学専任ボランティア) is mentioned, suggesting some multilingual support is available on race day.

Notes

The overseas entry fee (¥30,000) is significantly higher than the domestic fee (¥16,000). In-person bib pickup in Fukuoka on Nov 6–7 is mandatory, so travel to Japan is required. The race follows JAAF rules.
