How to enter

Online entry via RUNNET (runnet.jp). A furusato nozei (hometown tax donation) entry option is also available but is limited to non-Koka City residents.

What you need

Runners must be born on or before April 1, 2008. Must be able to finish the marathon in approx. 5 hours or the half in approx. 3 hours. High school students and wheelchair participants are not permitted.

Payment

Entry fee is ¥7,000 for marathon/half marathon, plus a ¥420 RUNNET handling fee. Payment is processed through RUNNET.

Bib pickup

Bibs are mailed to participants in mid-October. There is no race-day pickup for marathon/half marathon runners — this implies a Japanese mailing address is required.

Entry period

June 14, 2026 (9:00 AM) to August 10, 2026. Furusato nozei entries close July 31, 2026.

On race day

Free shuttle buses run from JR Kibukawa Station and Kameyama Station to the venue. Nearby accommodation options are listed on the official site.

Notes

Because bibs are mailed to a Japanese address in mid-October, overseas runners will likely need to arrange a Japanese address for delivery. The page makes no explicit mention of overseas entry or international runners.
