How to enter
Overseas runners can enter directly via RUN JAPAN, a platform listed specifically for those living overseas. Domestic runners have additional options (LAWSON DO! SPORTS, Sports Entry, RUNNET).
Entry platform
RUN JAPAN (for overseas residents); RUNNET and others for domestic residents.
What you need
Runners must be 18 or older on race day (no high school students). Runners must carry their own water bottle and cup, plus basic nutrition and weather gear. U25 category is for those aged 25 or under on race day.
Payment
Overseas entry fees are higher than domestic rates. For example, FUJI 5LAKES 120km costs ¥28,000 (general) or ¥22,400 (U25) for overseas residents. Entry handling fees vary by platform (e.g. RUNNET charges 6.0%).
Bib pickup
Race bibs and timing tags are mailed out before the event; no in-person pickup is required.
Entry period
Entry opens 24 October 2025 (18:00) and closes 31 January 2026 (23:59), or earlier if capacity is reached.
On race day
Aid stations provide water and sports drinks, but no paper cups — runners must bring their own bottle and cup. First aid is available on course.
Notes
The race notes that entry for 2026 has already closed (all distances filled). Overseas runners should check the RUN JAPAN platform for future editions. FUJI 5LAKES 120km qualifies for SPARTATHLON entry (sub-12h finish required).
