How to enter

Overseas runners must use the dedicated 'RUN JAPAN – Living overseas' entry portal, separate from the domestic platforms (RUNNET, Sports Entry, LAWSON DO! SPORTS).

What you need

Must be 18 or older on race day (no high school students). Must carry a water bottle and personal cup (no paper cups provided). Minimum nutrition, cold-weather gear, mask, and rain gear required.

Payment

Overseas entry fee is ¥26,000 (100km general) or ¥20,800 (U25), tax included. An optional ¥1,000 Runner Support Plan (refund guarantee + sticker) is available at registration.

Bib pickup

Bib and timing chip are mailed out before the race, so no in-person pickup is required.

Entry period

Entry opens 31 October 2025 at 20:00 and closes 28 February 2026 at 23:59, or earlier if capacity is reached.

On race day

Aid stations are provided along the course, but no paper cups — runners must carry their own bottle and cup. Race time limit is 14 hours 30 minutes.

Notes

The overseas-dedicated RUN JAPAN slot may sell out independently of domestic slots. A partial cancellation refund (half the entry fee minus handling) is available if requested by 28 February 2026.
