How to enter

A dedicated overseas residents' quota (海外在住者枠) of 300 places is available for marathon entrants whose registered address is outside Japan at the time of entry.

Entry platform

RUN JAPAN or JTB Sports Station (for overseas entrants); RUNNET is used for domestic categories.

What you need

Applicant's address must be outside Japan at the time of entry. Must be born on or before April 1, 2008. Must be able to finish within the 6-hour time limit.

Payment

Entry fee is ¥14,000 plus a service fee: RUN JAPAN charges 14% and JTB Sports Station charges 11% on top of the entry fee.

Bib pickup

Marathon runners must collect their bib in person at Anabuki Arena Kagawa on March 20 (Saturday), 10:00–19:00. Photo ID is required. There is no race-day pickup.

Entry period

The overseas quota entry period is not explicitly stated on the page, but the general entry window runs from mid-October to November 23, 2026.

Notes

The Fun Run categories (3 km, 1 km) do not appear to have an overseas quota. Overseas runners entering the marathon should apply through RUN JAPAN or JTB Sports Station, not RUNNET. Note that in-person bib pickup the day before the race is mandatory, so travel to Kagawa by March 20 is required.
