How to enter

Entry is by web (mspo.jp platform) or postal application, followed by a selection process; results announced in late April. In-person athlete registration and the opening ceremony must be attended on July 18.

What you need

Applicants must be aged 19 or over on race day, have prior swim/bike/run race experience, and be able to finish within the time limits. Entry is subject to a selection/lottery process.

Payment

Entry fees are ¥48,000 (Type A) or ¥42,000 (Type B) for individuals, plus a ¥1,000 system fee (web) or ¥2,000 admin fee (postal). Fees are non-refundable once a race number is confirmed.

Bib pickup

Athlete registration (選手登録) takes place in person on July 18 (14:00–15:00), followed by the opening ceremony. Race materials are distributed at the opening ceremony and are not mailed in advance.

Entry period

Applications accepted March 1–31, 2026 (must arrive by March 31). Selection results published on the website in late April.

Notes

Attendance at the in-person athlete registration and opening ceremony on July 18 is required, making this race effectively inaccessible without being physically present in Japan. No mention of overseas-specific entry support.
